Prepare 2 dried chili peppers and 2 garlic cloves, mince them until finely chopped.
Wash 2 cups of rice thoroughly.
Place the minced chili and garlic in a mixing bowl with 2 cups of washed rice. Add 1 packet of Seri-Aji Nasi Goreng Kampung seasoning and mix well to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed throughout the rice mixture.
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a rice cooker, then add the rice mixture and cook as per your usual rice cooking process.
For the chicken, remove any bones from 2 boneless chicken thighs. Season with 1 teaspoon of Seri-Aji Masak Merah seasoning, mix well to coat the chicken pieces.
Marinate the chicken for at least 15 minutes or longer if desired.
Once marinated, bake the chicken in an air fryer set to 180°C (356°F) for about 10 minutes until cooked through.
When the nasi goreng kampung is ready, fluff it up with a fork. Arrange the baked chicken on top of the rice.
Add finely chopped garlic and sliced red chili on top of the chicken.
Cover and let it sit for about 5 minutes before serving.
